The Blood of Christ Is All Powerful

In Remembrance of Jesus Sacrifice On the Cross

Welcome And thanks for coming tonight. The reason we are here is to be cleansed from our affliction and oppressions that life has put upon us.

We are to be filled with knowledge of Christ on the cross, and to try and understand what the power of the blood of Jesus Christ means.

As a messenger of Jesus I have to make us all aware here tonight, what the body of Jesus actually endured during those hours of torture before and on the cross, and to remind ourselves what the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross was about.

His crucifixion was and is the crudest and most humiliating form of punishment and eventual death.

Jesus came to earth for the very purpose of offering his physical body to suffer crucifixion, death being the perfect atoning sacrifice for the sins of those he died for, so they could have the opportunity to return to fellowship with the eternal Godhead.

The first physical trauma that was inflicted on Jesus. A soldier struck his face and told him to be silent, and then the palace guards blindfolded him and mockingly taunted him, they spat upon him.

When morning came Jesus was battered and bruised, dehydrated and exhausted from a sleepless night. Next, Jesus was stripped of his clothing and his hands were tied to a post above his head.

Then the whipping began 39 lashes in all, Blood just poured out of Jesus back and shoulder.

The whip consisted of several heavy leather thongs with two balls of lead.

This heavy whip was brought down with full force repeatedly across Jesus shoulders, back and legs, he was at this point in terrible pain.

At first the thongs cut through Jesus skin, then The Blood swept out and poured on the floor.

As the blows continued, they cut deeper into the tissues bringing more of his Blood and it oozed from the veins of his skin and finally spurted arterial Blood, producing large bruises and cuts, it was a terrible sight.

The skin on the back of Jesus was hanging in long ribbons and the entire area was an unrecognisable mass of torn, skin and bleeding.

When this beating finally stopped, the half fainting Jesus was then untied and allowed to slump to the stone pavement, wet with his own Blood.

Then the roman soldiers still needed a crown to make their travesty complete; flexible branches covered with long thorns were plaited into a shape of a crown and this was then pressed into Jesus scalp Blood just poured out of Jesus head, what a terrible sight.
This as you know caused copious bleeding on his scalp, more Blood amassed and poured out of his scalp.

After mocking and striking Jesus, the soldiers took hold of the crown and pressed it even deeper into his head and more of his Blood just poured out of him onto the floor.

Jesus was at this point crucified we must remember the clots of Blood and serum that he lost, the wounds he suffered and the excruciating pain he went through.

Jesus again was whipped and even more of his Blood just poured out of him and onto the floor.

He tried to walk erect but the weight of the heavy beam, together with the shock produced by copious Blood loss, made it difficult, Jesus still bleeding and sweating the cold clammy sweat of shock.

Then Simon was ordered to place the patibulum on the ground and Jesus was quickly thrown backwards with his shoulders against the wood.

The legionnaire felt for the depression at the front of the wrist and he drove a heavy square, wrought iron nail through the wrist and deep into the wood, Blood just poured out of Jesus’ wrist.

And the legionnaire quickly moved to the other side and repeated the same action, more Blood just pours out of Jesus wrist what a terrible sight.

Then the left foot was pressed backwards against the right foot and with both feet extended toes down; a nail was driven through the arch of each, leaving the knees moderately flexed.

Jesus was at this point was crucified and his Blood was everywhere.

He said forgive them for they know not what they do, Jesus slowly sagged down, with more weight on the nails in the wrists, excruciating pain shot along the fingers, up the arms and exploded into the brain.

The nails in the wrists put pressure on the median nerves and as Jesus pushed himself upward, stretching, it was pure torment.

And as he placed his full weight on the nail through his feet, again searing agony tore through his nerves and bones of the feet.
At this point, his arms were fatigued, great waves of cramps swept over his muscles, knotting them in deep; relentless throbbing pain.

The pectoral muscles were paralysed, Jesus said, while trying to gain consciousness.

Father forgive them for they know not what they do. Moreover, Jesus, looking to his mother Mary, woman behold thy son, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me.

Hours of limitless pain, joints rending cramps, searing pain where tissue is torn, Blood still pouring out of Jesus, it was an arena of Jesus Blood.

Here we have the great sequel in the infinite mercy of God towards man. Jesus said, I am poured out like water and all my bones are out of joint, my heart is like wax; it is melted into the midst of my bowels.
He said it is now almost over, In addition, he said, my strength is dried up like potsherd, my tongue cleaveth to my jaws and thou have brought me to the dust of death.

The body of Jesus was now in extreme pain, and he felt the chill of death creeping through his tissues.
Jesus said, it is finished, father into thy hands I commit my spirit, the rest you know, apparently to make doubly sure of death, the Roman soldier drove his lance through the interspace between the ribs, upwards, and into the heart and immediately there came out Blood and water.

This was post mortem evidence that Jesus was dead. Here we have had a glimpse of the epitome of evil that man has exhibited toward man and toward God.
It has been a terrible sight and more, enough to leave us despondent and depressed, How grateful we can be that we have the great sequel in the infinite mercy of God towards man. Amen.

The Sacred Blood, Holy Blood, has been shed on the cross.
Reconciliation is complete, and the message comes to us all, Be reconciled to God, If we repent our sins, and desire to be delivered from sin's power and bondage, exercise our faith in the blood of Jesus.

Open our hearts to the influence of the word that God has sent to be spoken unto us. Open our hearts to the message, that the blood of Jesus can deliver us at this moment. Only believe it can, Say that blood of Jesus is also for me.

If you come as a guilty, lost sinner, longing for pardon, you may rest assured that the blood of Jesus which has already made a perfect Reconciliation covers our sin and restores us, immediately, to the favour and love of GOD.

Beloved we read concerning our Lord that by His own blood he entered into the holy place, we must remember that God-brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus-through the blood of the everlasting covenant.

And by such words the Holy Spirit also teaches us that the blood is really the central power of our entire redemption.

Beloved Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus the is Nothing but the Blood of Jesus, shed in His death for sin, can cover sin on God's side, or remove it on ours.

We have redemption through his blood and that we are made nigh by the blood of Christ, and of being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus through faith in his blood.

The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin the Son is He who came not by water only but by water and blood, all of them agree together in mentioning the blood, and in glorying in it, as by the power by which eternal redemption through Christ, is fully accomplished.

The life of the flesh is in the blood and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls, for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

It is because the soul, or life, is in the blood; and that the blood is offered to God on the altar, that it has in it redemptive power.

Beloved the soul or life is in the blood, therefore the value of the blood corresponds to the value of the life that is in it.

And now who can tell the value or the power of the blood of Jesus? In that blood, dwelt the soul of the holy Son of God.

The eternal life of the Godhead was carried in that blood,The power of that blood in its divers effects is nothing less than the eternal power of God Himself.

What a glorious thought for everyone who desires to experience the full power of the blood of Jesus.
Beloved but the power of the blood lies above everything else in the fact that it is offered to God on the altar for redemption.

When we think of blood as shed, we think of death; death follows, when the blood or the soul is poured out, death makes us think of sin, for death is the punishment of sin.

The blood was thus the life given up to death for the satisfaction of the law of God His blood was in itself of infinite value, because it carried His soul or life.

But the atoning virtue of His blood was infinite also, because of the manner in which it was shed the Father glorified.

Beloved His blood, It has a marvellous power for removing sin, and opening heaven for the sinner; whom it cleanses, the blood of Jesus, God's Son, has been shed, atonement for sin has been made, peace is restored.
Who can tell the worth of that precious blood?

Beloved the blood has made reconciliation for sin, and covered it, Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

The voice of the blood will not speak simply teach us or to awaken thought; the blood speaks with a divine and life giving power.

The believer who surrenders himself unreservedly to the blood, obtains the full assurance that God will bestow Himself wholly, and will reveal His holiness in him.

The precious blood of Christ has opened the way for the believer into God's presence he who knows the full power of the blood is brought so nigh that he can always live in the immediate presence of God, the blood of Jesus brings us near, it is also, chiefly, that we should live before God.

Do not fear to expect that Jesus himself will reveal in you the power of the blood to bring you nigh to God.

Beloved the blood was shed to unite us to God, the blood has accomplished its work, and will perfect it in you, the blood has unspeakable virtue and glory in God's sight, the Mercy Seat sprinkled with blood is the chosen place of God's abode and is His throne of grace.

Beloved God draws near with joy and good pleasure to the heart that surrenders itself entirely to the efficacy of the blood, the blood of Jesus has irresistible power.

It is through the blood Jesus was raised up from the grave, and carried into heaven, be assured the blood of Jesus is able to preserve you every day in God's presence by its divine giving power.

As precious and all powerful as the blood of Jesus is, so sure and certain is also your abiding with God, if only you trust is steadfast.

And how is it the Blood of Jesus exercises this wonderful power, how is it.

The power of the Blood is in the worth of the life, in the Blood of Jesus the power of the divine dwelt, and worked; the Blood has already in has almighty and unceasing power.

So the Blood of Jesus has its wonderful power, not only because the life of God's Son was in it, but because it was given as an atonement for sin.

The power of the Blood of Jesus has entirely destroyed the power of sin, death, the grave and bell; so that our Surety could go out.

The power of the Blood of Jesus has opened heaven so that our Surety could freely enter. Oh, the divine, wonderful power of the Blood! Through the Blood we enter into The Holies.

The Blood of Jesus pleads for us, and in us, with an eternal, a ceaseless effect, it removes sin from God's sight, and from our conscience.

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the Holiest.

The Blood bestows our right of entrance, the way, as a living and life-giving one, bestows the power, Jesus has shed His Blood for us: in that particular way we cannot follow Him.

But the way by which He walked when He shed his Blood, we have the liberty to enter into "the Holiest" by the Blood of Jesus, may the Lord God lead us along this way always in our life.

Beloved a heart that truly abandons everything in order to yield itself to the authority and power of the Blood of Jesus, it is the sprinkling of the Blood of Jesus that avails, the Blood of Christ will purify your conscience to serve the living God.

Beloved the Blood of Jesus must be so brought by the Holy Spirit into direct contact with our hearts that our hearts become cleansed from an evil conscience.

Also the Blood of Jesus removes all self-condemnation, it cleanses the conscience, conscience then witnesses that the removal of guilt has been so perfectly completed, there is no longer the least separation between God and us.

Conscience bears witness that we are well pleasing to God; that our heart is cleansed; that we through the sprinkling of the Blood of Jesus are in true living fellowship with God.
Yes, the Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses from all sin, not only from the guilt but also from the stain of sin, the Blood of Jesus works with a ceaseless effect to keep the soul clean, a heart that lives under the full power of the Blood is a clean heart, cleansed from a guilty conscience, prepared to draw near with perfect freedom.

Let us in full assurance of faith, believe that our hearts are cleansed by the blood of Jesus, let us honour the Blood of Jesus greatly, by confessing before God that it cleanses us, the entrance to the Holy Place prepared through the Blood of Jesus.

The heart must be sprinkled with blood the blood of Jesus, the body must be washed with pure water, and while the Blood cleanses the heart, the inner man, baptism is the yielding of the body, with all its visible life, to separation from sin.

Beloved the power of the Blood of Jesus to cleanse inwardly cannot be experienced unless we also cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh.
Beloved the divine work of cleansing, by the sprinkling of Blood, the human work of cleansing by laying aside sin, are inseparable, it is In the Blood of Christ that cleanses from all sin, God has bestowed on you the power to cleanse yourself.

Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of Man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life, for my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood dwelleth in me and I in him, these are the words of Christ.

Beloved he who desires to know the full power of the blood of Jesus must be taught by Him what the blessing of drinking the blood is.

Without drinking the blood of the Son of God-- is without the most hearty appropriation of it, life cannot be obtained.

We have to thank Jesus Christ for making us to understand what His blood on the cross was about. And also to remind ourselves that only faith can inspire courage and joy for us all.

The resurrection and ascension of Jesus. And the casting out of Satan, were the results of Jesus shedding his blood on the cross.

I therefore, beseech you to open the entire being to the incoming power of the blood of Jesus, then your life will become a continual observance of the resurrection and ascension of our Lord, and continual victory over all evil powers of hell.

Now is come salvation, and strength, the kingdom of our God, and the power of Jesus. For the accuser of the brethren is cast down and out of our bodies.
