It is true we have won all our wars? I don’t think so!

Here am I trying to work out why do we have wars, and what is the purpose of wars, I know one thing for sure that wars are never fought for altruistic reasons. Remember the passage in (Ecclesiastes 3:8). there is a time for war, a time to love, and a time to hate; and a time for peace. I know that in war, the first casualty is the truth, we can read and believe history books when they tell us when wars were fought, you just can't trust them as to why. It is true we have won all our wars, but we have paid for them, and still paying from dearly. (Matthew 5:9).
The Lord God said blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. (Matthew 5:44).

But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you and others, you cannot become a peacemaker through silence, there have been wars started with such low level tactics of passive aggression and still is, remember that our intelligence is not expecting people to understand what our intent is; it is anticipating how it will be perceived in understanding. While we defend our lives against the dark destroyer who would devour us all; but I do not always love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which is defended in wisdom.

Only the dead have seen the end of war

Governments declare war not always for the right reason, but it is the youth that must fight and die. There are causes worth dying for, but none worth killing for, only the dead have seen the end of war. Never think that war, no matter how necessary, nor how justified, is not a crime, all wars are symptoms of man's failure of understanding and wisdom. Let me tell you that we have learned how to destroy, but not to create relationships; how to waste, but not to build; how to kill people, but not how to save them; how to die, but seldom how to live.

We must remember wars can destroy everything even hope. (Matthew 10:28). The Lord said do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul, rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (James 4:1). What causes quarrels and what causes fights among you? Is it not this, that your passions are at war within you, a soldier is not always just a soldier, remember what scars the wars leave behind. I would like to finish on what John had wrote (John 14:27). Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you, not as the world gives do I give to you, let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. Amen
