Psychological Abuse Is A Demon Stronghold

proverbs 3:5-6   Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.  Remember that if you emotionally abuse others, threat or harm your loved ones, humiliate them, blaming them, controlling them, intimidating your loved ones, harassing them, verbally abuse them, or control them, bullying them, and keeping them in isolation.  It is not the way and how the Lord God sees it Romans 12:2  It is up to you not to conform to this world with psychological abuse but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what the will of God is, what is good, acceptable and perfect.  1 Thessalonians 5:23   Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Physical Abuse Is A Demon Stronghold

1 Corinthians 13:4-7    Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing especially physical abuse of your loved ones, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.  So physically assaulting your loved ones, hitting them, slapping or pushing them.  Remember if they have history of unexplained falls, unexplained bruising in well protected areas or soft parts of the body it’s because they have been physically abused, bruising in different stages of healing, unexplained burns in unusual locations, unexplained fractures to any part of the body, unexplained slap, kick, punch of finger marks injury shape similar to an object, untreated medical problems, weight loss due to malnutrition or dehydration, these all related to physical abuse.  Ephesians 6:4 People of the world, do not provoke and physically abuse your children but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.  Psalm 91:1-16 And remember that he who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.  I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”  For he will deliver you from the snare of abuse.

Sexual Abuse Is A Demon Stronghold

Matthew 11:28  Come to me, all who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Psalm 9:9  The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble of rape, indecent exposure, sexual harassment, inappropriate looking or touching, sexual teasing or innuendo, sexual photography, subjection to pornography or witnessing sexual acts, indecent exposure and sexual assault or sexual acts to which the adult has not consented or was pressured into.  We must remember when sexually abused, you may discover a sudden change in your behaviour, sudden onset of confusion in you, incontinence, withdrawal, overtly sexual behaviour/language by the vulnerable adult, self-inflicted injury, disturbed sleep pattern/poor concentration, pain or itching, bruising or bleeding in the genital area, sexually transmitted disease/urinary tract/vaginal infection, bruising to upper thighs and arms, frequent infection all this because you have been abused.  Habakkuk 1:3  Why do you make me see iniquity, and why do you idly look at wrong?  Destruction and violence are before me; strife and contention arise.  1 Corinthians 6:9-11 or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?  Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who sexually abuse, practice homosexuality will inherit the kingdom of God.

Child Abuse Is A Demon Stronghold

Shocking and rather disturbing …. about 50,000 cases of sexual abuse were recorded by Police and Local Authorities in the two years to March 2014,  but the findings indicate that official figures vastly underestimate the true scale of child sexual abuse.  The actual number of children abused in that period is thought to be as many as 450,000.

What are the causes of child abuse?

We have to ask ourselves what is the true cause of child abuse.  There is not any single fact which causes child abuse; abuse usually occurs in families where there is a combination of risk factors.  Abuse and neglect occur most often in families who are under pressure and lack support.  Most abuse other than sexual abuse occurs in families to which some, or all, of the following apply: Poverty, Lack of education, Serious marital problems, Violence between family members, Lack of support from the extended family, Loneliness and social isolation.  In some cases, the abuser may also display the following: Very high expectations of the child and what the child should achieve.  The parent may have been abused as a child, a lack of knowledge and skills in bringing up children, Low self-esteem and self-confidence, Depression, Alcohol and/or drug abuse, Mental or physical ill health.  Certain community attitudes may encourage child abuse also.

These include: Acceptance of the use of violence and force, Acceptance of physical punishment of children Acceptance of parents "ownership" of children and their right to treat children as they see fit, Racism.  But who are the abusers?  With child sexual abuse, the overwhelming majority of abusers are male, and the majority of victims are females although many boys are also abused. Sexual abuse is associated with attitudes to women and sex that men learn from a young age as well as unequal power relationships between men and women and adults and children.  Both men and women commit physical abuse, emotional abuse and neglect. It often depends on which parent spends most time with the child. Child abuse usually takes place in the home with someone that the child knows rather than with strangers.  Proverbs 22:6    God had said that you should train up your child in the way he or she should go; even when he is old he will not depart from you. Colossians 3:20   Children, obey your parents in everything and forgive them for their abuse, for this pleases the Lord.

Drug Abuse Is A Demon Stronghold

We seem to be losing the drug war, we must remember drugs Is a serious public health problem that affects almost every community and family in some way. Each year drug abuse causes millions of serious illnesses or injuries among people. Abused drugs include: Methamphetamine, Anabolic steroids, Club drugs, Cocaine, Heroin, Inhalants and Marijuana.  Drug abuse also plays a role in many major social problems, such as drugged driving, violence, stress, and child abuse. Drug abuse can lead to homelessness, crime, and missed work or problems with keeping a job. It harms unborn babies and destroys families. There are different types of treatment for drug abuse. But the best is to prevent drug abuse in the first place.  Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me, so seek God from your drug addiction.  John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life

Alcohol Abuse Is A Demon Stronghold

Proverbs 20:1  Wine is a mocker, strong drink a brawler, and whoever is led astray by it is not wise. Ephesians 5:18 And do not get drunk with wine or any other spirit, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit of God. When we abuse alcohol; we continue to drink even though you know your drinking is causing problems. If you continue to abuse alcohol, it can lead to alcohol dependence. Alcohol dependence is also called alcoholism. You are physically or mentally addicted to alcohol. You have a strong need, or craving, to drink.  What doe’s Alcohol abuse means having unhealthy or dangerous drinking habits, such as drinking every day or drinking too much at a time. Alcohol abuse can harm your relationships, cause you to miss work, and lead to legal problems such as driving while drunk (intoxicated). Isaiah 5:22 Misery to those who are heroes at drinking wine, and valiant men in mixing strong drink, Isaiah 5:11 Sorrow to those who rise early in the morning, that they may run after strong drink, who tarry late into the evening as wine inflames them.

Alcoholism has little to do with what kind of alcohol one drinks, how long one has been drinking, or even exactly how much alcohol one consumes, but it has a great deal to do with a person's uncontrollable need for alcohol, most alcoholics can't just "use a little willpower" to stop drinking.  The alcoholic is frequently in the grip of a powerful craving for alcohol, we must take on board that 88,000 deaths are annually attributed to excessive alcohol use and that Alcoholism is the 3rd leading lifestyle-related cause of death in the nation.  Excessive alcohol use is responsible for 2.5 million years of potential life lost annually, or an average of about 30 years of potential life lost for each death and also up to 40% of all hospital beds in the United Kingdom) are being used to treat health conditions that are related to alcohol consumption. Romans 12:2 We must remember not to be conformed to this world with alcohol, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.  Amen
